Help! My washer has spilled water all over the floor of the garage during the spin cycle...

I guess the hose is busted. I need to unplug the washer and remove my clothes, will I get electrocuted?

Turn off the power at your breaker box first! Hope this helps.

if the hose burst, it will still be flooding garage, since it happened during spin cycle, it may be your drain thats stopped up. And no you won't get shocked unless water is spraying electrical socket, but then we have circuit breakers that will trip in that case

When you replace the hose(s), be sure to spend the extra money and get the wire mesh ones.  One for the hot water and one for the cold. They won't burst.  I had the same problem and it made a mess in my basement.  I didn't realize it for a couple of hours, so the water just kept running.  Good luck!

Put towels all over and turn the power off in your breaker box first!
