Help! Need to Now! Internship Question!! Please?!

I will be calling in for an internship this morning(she called before leaving a message). The person will most likely ask for an interview with me. However, I can't do a fall internship due to conflicting schedules with my college classes....she mainly asked for fall and I originally applied for summer. Should I tell her on the phone I can't do the fall but I can do winter? OR Should I just wait until the interview is over to let her know? My dad says wait until the interview, my mom says when I call her. HELP! Need to know answers right now(calling in 2 hours)!!!!

From my own experience I can tell you that you should tell her right away that you can't do Fall, and let her know that you want it for whatever tim of next year you want. most companies have internship programs for summer, fall and spring... make sure you keep her information...e-mail...phone number...so that you can contact her 3 to 4 months before they summer if you want it for the summer.

Your Mom is right. You shouldn't waste your time or theirs if a Fall intership absolutely doesn't work for you. Being straightforward with them may well mean they keep you in mind for future opportunities. Good luck!
