I assume you're on the 4:50 to Frankfurt for a connecting flight rather than the direct flight from Rome to Chicago at 10:05 am. The easiest for this is the Hilton at the airport. You can get up and walk to the terminal: http://www1.hilton.com/en_US/hi/hotel/RO... It isn't really moderately priced though.

You might like the Chopin in Fiumicino - it's pretty cheap and close to the airport. It also has a 24 hour front desk - not all the places in that area do. http://en.venere.com/hotels_fiumicino/ho...
