Help Needed!! Act or Sat testing?

I have been wondering do you have to take the ACT test before you can Take the SAT. Is That true? i have not take none of them and i am a Jr. this year. Help needed!!?

  1. No, you don't have to take the ACT before you take the SAT.  In fact, you don't even have to take both.  A lot of people choose to do so just because they might do better on one than the other.  You should take both of them this year if you're a junior.  You should study beforehand with test prep books, which you can find at your local bookstore or library.  


  2. That isn't true. You don't even necessarily have to take both tests (the only reason most people do is because people tend to score better on one than the other, so they take both tests to get the highest score possible).

    You should take the SAT/ACT this upcoming school year if you're going to be a junior this year.
