I will be flying to England in 20 days and I know I will need a plug converter for my battery charger but will I need a voltage converter as well? it says: Input 100-240v~50/60Hz

0.15A-0.1A

Output 8.4 V ---- .6A

have not a clue what these numbers mean? I just don't really want to take a $1000.00 camera to England and not be able to use it.

please help?

  1. The Europe electrical wall power is different than U.S. and that means you need a converter for any plug-in appliances you bring. You also did not specify make of Nikon (Dx or ?) so the battery will have a different format. Take the battery you have to a photo store and have them check to see what is needed to operate in England.

  2. You won't need any voltage converter, your battery charger works in 100 (America) and 240 volts (England), But you'll need a plug adapter like this:

  3. Don't worry, you won't need a voltage converter, just an adaptor to enable you to plug in your 2 flat prong plug into the UK 3 prong electric socket. You'll be able to pick up a travel adaptor for a few dollars in radio shack, best buy or similar. (Err, assuming you're in the US!)
