Question:

Help? No pics will load to 360, not even same that loaded before. I'd like to update but I've been prevented.

The 360 won't even accept the avatar.

I understand the 5MB proscription. Is there a ht. & width or dpi or something I'm missing. I just get a white frame with a red x. ?

  1. You just have to keep trying.  Occasionally, 360 will choose to close down one spot, but you can upload pics in the other spots.  It is that sometimes 360 will work and sometimes it doesn't.  Persistence is the key.

  2. I'm sorry man, but those picture are probably invalid and you probably need to try different pictures. Also you should check if the pictures are contaminated by a virus or anything of that sort. If that doesn't help you should go see someone who can fix it. My friend had the same problem and we went to someone and he completely fixed it cheap! Good Luck! I hope I helped!

  3. You just have to be patient, mine took close to a week.

Yahoo, is being really slow with pictures lately.

    Sorry, Goodluck!

  4. You're still having this problem? Sheesh.

Since Yahoo is not getting with it, I could use some Gypsy incantations, that might be more effective at this point.  :-P

Ay muñeca, wishing you find some solution (if any) to this long-standing issue.   :-)

  5. UPDATED:

Actually, you're pretty fortunate. You have at least one 360 profile pic uploaded that's showing in Y/A. Some people can't even do that.

Sorry, you may not be able to fix this. My overall recommendation is that you leave the module alone, as it has been a buggy one for a long time. The red x just means whatever you're doing isn't working. I don't think the image shows up over time; you have to re-do the upload.

If you want to TRY something you can attempt to do the following:

    - You can delete one of the other pictures to possibly get rid of a red x (or an elongated page resulting from the buggy module). But if you have no images showing, that's probably not an option for you. Instead you can try adding back a Yahoo! Avatar, if you have an elongated page and no picture spots left.

    - You can try adding an image, but likely you won't be able to do so. Try adding more than one image at one time - 3 or 4. It doesn't matter if it's an image you've used before or not - just make sure it's in JPEG format (with a .jpg, .jpeg, .jpe extension) under 5MB. You can try adding them to different spots.

It's a risk. If you've lost spots in the module, you may unintentionally elongate the page if you attempt to make adjustments in that area. You may lose the rest of your spots. Again, if it doesn't bother you that much, I recommend just leaving it alone.

If it does bother you, then you can create a new 360 space under a separate Yahoo ID.
