  1. DONT POWER IT OFF ANYMORE.CALL A ELECTRONIC MATENENCE!FAST

  2. Here are some options:

    1.  Your unit is on and you are getting a black screen from the source.  Check the source: cable box, dvd, etc.  Make sure they are on and tuned to the proper channel, etc.

    2.  Your surge protector is overloaded and will not power the tv.  Unplug one or two plugs from it and try.

    3.  You have to wait and let the unit cool down.  Some televisions turn themselves off like some cars to prevent overheating.

    4.  Check the power cord and make sure it is secure in the television and outlet.

    5.  Take out component cords in the back of television and use only one input signal.  For some reason a few televisions only work with a limited amount of components plugged in.

  3. check to see if the input selector was changed.  or tv - vcr selector. cycle thru inputs until you get tv reception.

  4. I am currently having the same problem and this is the second time I have had it.  Not sure how I fixed it but while I was on hold with the help line it turned on.  Since I cannot fix it this time I have called 1-866-9-OLEVIA...waiting for them to call me back.

Edit: Supposedly this is a serious problem and we might need to replace a power board but there is a temp fix (see link below for better descirptions)

"I had this problem with my Olevia 23". I connected a usb cable from my computer to the service port on the back of the Olevia.(USB Type A to Type B 5-pin male)."
