Help On Buying My First Laptop!!!?

Im looking into buying this laptop and was wondering who has bought this kind of dell and tell me if they like it or not. Also I was wondering about the wireless internet for this computer. I already have a home desktop computer with high speed internet so can the laptop hit off of that?

It's overpriced, worth closer to 450$ or 500$. Also, it has a single core Celeron. These chips bog down real bad if you try to do two things at once. Once you go dual core, it's just real hard to go back.

As for your wireless connection, this notebook has a type B and G reciever. It should work with pretty much every wireless Internet system, including the router installed in your house (you DO have one, right?)

dells are reliable and yes if you buy a wireless router.

I would not buy electronic product from WalMart that cost more than $200ish.  Especially a computer.

Take a look at www.avadirect.com ...  You will be able to put a REALLY good system together on their that will be MUCH better than the one your looking at from WalMart.
