Help PLZ my pet rock..?

Question

i know pet stores only care about making money and nothing else, so i contacted a reputable breeder and bought a pet rock

but i think there's somethin seriously wrong with it, it doesn't move or respond to anything!

could it be worms or be deaf or somethin, i can't afford to go to a vet and the closest one is far away

It is probably depressed because it doesn't have any friends.  Pet rocks do best in small groups kept on a bed of sand.  Make sure you also get the additional rocks from a reputable breeder.  It is immoral and probably illegal to take wild rocks and keep them as pets.

It could be one of those artificial rocks they they sometimes try to pass off as real rocks.

or maybe its not a rock but a dead turtle shell?
