Help!!! Parents, driving, and a car!?

Okay... I'm going to be driving in 137 days not that I'm counting but.. My parents are totally fine with letting me use there cars when there not using it but if there gone so are the cars. They work normal morning hours which will prevent me from driving to school unless I drive them to work first. I've expressed a desire for a car preferably a nice one, like a Mini Cooper or even my Daddy's brand new Chevy Tahoe. How do I get my parents to agree to get my a car. I've made a lot of scarfices Like i said I would keep the car spot less and drive my little brothers around and do the geoceries, drive my Saint Bernards around. And to tell you the truth I really need a car that way I can drive to school and then to work.. I don't have a job yet but I really want one.. (When have you ever herd a teenager say that??).. So I can stop begging for rides and then I can drive my self to the horse farm every day. I have ridden completelively for like 6 years. So then they won't have to drive..

tell them all the pros:

-they wont need to give you rides to school and home from school.

-no need to take you to friends house's anymore

-you wont need to beg rides from friends/friends parents

-if you get a job, they wont need to take you there.

-if you live out of town, they wont need to drive all the way back into town just to get you.

idk. just stuff like that

and then for every con you have produce a solution:

-gas money: you'll get a job

-insurance: ^^

-if theyre scared you'll speed or not obey the law, make sure you show them that you won't by driving with them for a couple days before you go on your own.

just show responsibility.

Get a job first (somewhere that does not require a car).  Then use the money from teh job to buy a car.

Can you borrow one of the horses and use it to ride to and from the horse farm?

if you can do just a tad bit more to show them you`re overly responsible then i`m sure they`ll let you have a car or work something out for you so you can drive whenever YOU want to . . talk to them about it depth (if you havent already)

I frankly don't know what your question is in that mess but I am certain that I find it disgusting that people 18 and under, ESPECIALLY ones without jobs are allowed to drive, and I find it down right obscene that people 16 and under are allowed.

If you get A's and B's they can't be in English unless our school system is even more screwed up than I think it is.

Try telling them that when you get your job you will pay them, and if you dont pay them, that they can take the car back to the dealership. If this doesnt work, then ask them for a used car that isint worth much, that you know you can pay them with. ALSO try acting responsible with them, by doing other things around your house, that will make you seem more responsible.

Maybe you could look in the paper for one that you like.  Then show the paper to your dad and ask him if he will take you to look at it.  Maybe they don;t have the time to look for one , but if you find one you like then that is better.  You have a while to go yet , so don't worry so much about it!  Your parents love you.

  I mean, What are your parents thinking?  Are they complete idiots?

  How else are you supposed to get to school and your imaginary job?

  And besides that, it is a well known fact that a mini cooper is the best car to carry giant dogs in. Don't  they know anything?

   I can, like, TOTALLY understand how being driven to the horse  farm to ride your horse  must make you feel embarrassed and underprivileged.

   I would DEMAND they buy me a mini cooper, and if they don,t  I would throw a snit fit and act like a spoiled snot.

make a deal with them. what i did was i said i would score above certain number on SAT's and i did. thats how i got my USED G35 cports coupe. and well, u got 137 days right? thats 4 and half moonth. if u work ur butt off dping part time, u can come up with 4Gs.

and help around the house, do things even when they dont ask u, just show them that u have matured and try to convince them with actions. (arguing NEVERRR GOT ME ANY WHERE). im guesing ur family's rich since ur dad dropped 63g on a car. but, how about starting with a used car? it'll save u about 1-2g a year on insurance. being a 16yr old that i am, i pay 3-4gs a year on car insurance. its a used car but i got areally good coverage.

yes, Your parents are being very unfair in there, I think they should buy you a nice car so you don't have to beg your friends and then your friends will think that your parents are really cool and not being mean to you.

Start by showing some maturity, stop nagging.  When you can buy your own car then that is when you will get one.

Remember it is not just the cost of the car but insurance, gas, registration fee, inspection and maintenance
