  1. Yahoo! already has your email - so you're not telling them something they don't already know.  You can make your profile private and hide your email address.

I have a 360° page and there are privacy and security features available in your account settings.  In your settings, all the way to the right of each option, is a multiple choice box that lets you choose who sees your info.  Just choose the "Just Me (private)" option.

  2. Provide your e-mail, otherwise, you won't be able to set up your 360 space. It won't be revealed to anyone besides Yahoo as long as you follow the instructions below.

You can set it up so people can only see your nickname, your profile pics (with some miscellaneous link functions under that), friends module, your Top Page comments (unless you delete all of them), and your background. If that's not private enough, then you should move to another service.

This is what makes Yahoo! 360 unique - the ability to set permissions for just about everything. See http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/per... for more information on permissions.

    1) Click your "Settings" link at the top of your 360 space. The first page is Basic Info.

Go to Yahoo! Identity Display under your "Settings" link and select the first circle.

For all sections, change your permissions to "Just Me (Private)" by clicking on the dropdown list to the right.

Do not check that you want to be in the directory.

Click the "Save and Continue" button at the bottom.

Then, go to your "Communication Settings" (upper left of page) and make sure that your settings are set to "Friends".

Do the same permission setting- "Just Me (Private)" - for your "Blog Settings" (also on the upper left of "Settings" page).

    2) Go to any other content module on your "My Page" and click the "Settings/Edit" link on the upper right of that module to choose the "Just Me (Private)" permission the same way that you did in the other areas. Don't forget to do so for your comments and blast. See http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-1qCkw2Eha... for a visual on the comments part. Keep the quick comment setting unselected.

Doing #1 & #2 should make you private - as long as you don't invite friends and with the exception of the automatically public areas that I stated at the beginning.

Make sure to check how other people view your page by clicking on the drop down menu "Preview as seen by" at the top right of your 360 "My Page.
