Help Please!! puffy eyed hamster?

My hamster (wich has no name) has been acting very wierd lately...and emotionless, he stoped being active all he does is lie under his house all day and night....but then his eyes started becoming very puffy and now theyre like bulging out of his socket. i realy dont know what to do, i couldnt find enything about it on google and if he stays this way eny longer he might die...his eyes are both puffy n bulging and hes completly emotionless, normaly when i pick him up he runs around a bit but when i picked him up he just layed in my hand head down and everything and he started making wierd tss tss sounds when he breaths. can enyone help me on what to do???? my parents wont let me take him to a vet because ittle cost to much money

Hmm...that is a very strange disease.  Be sure that he is sleeping well and eating and drinking normally, and plan a trip to the vet right away.  If you value your pet, you should be okay with taking him to the vet, because it costs relatively little to save a rodent's life.

If you live in the UK take your hamster to the animal hospital as they only charged me £5 to look at my hamster and 3 gerbil's so it should not cost much for the hamster and some treatment.  And I hope your hamster gets better soon.

That is not at all necessarily true what the person above me said. I think maybe go to your local vet's office wiwthout your hamster and explain to him what the problem is and see what he has to say about it. Tell him that your parents don't want the hamster to go in, and if he says the hamster needs medication tell your parents. Don't get pessimistic. Good luck!
