Help Please..?

I cant find out my great great grandfather name but i've heard that his name could have been Toug/Toog Ervin.Toug might be his nickname but i'm still not sure.He was born in South Carolina around the 1890's and he died there also maybe around the 1950's or 60's.His wife name was Silvy (Brown) Ervin who was born 1892 in Edisto Island,Charleston,SC and died in the 60's.One of his children my great grandfather Willie James Ervin who served in World War II, and who was born around 1916 and died in the 1980's.I cant find any info on Toug Ervin.

Do you have any names of your grandfather's siblings?  

I found a Willie James Ervin that served in WWII, but he was born in 1928.
