I am learning. What is so bad to ask questions when this is yahoo answer am I right....

0.06x^3 - 0.09x^2 + 0.07x - 0.02x^3 - 0.04x^2 + 8 (combine like terms)

0.04x^3 - 0.13x^2 + 0.07x + 8 <===ANSWER

I can get you just so far in this.

(0.06x^3 - 0.09x^2 +0.07x) - (0.02x^3 + 0.04x^2 - 8)

= 0.06x^3 - 0.09x^2 + 0.07x - 0.02x^3 -0.04x^2 + 8

= 0.4 x^3 - 0.13x^2 + 0.07x + 8
