Help!! Plzz! concerned about highschool!!

Okay well i just graduated from middle school and am now going to highschool and after seeing the movie drillbit taylor i'm a little scared. Is highschool really like that?? ANd are there alot of bullies?? I mean i'm pretty popular but still some ppl make fun of me and stuff.

It sucks pretty bad not going to lie.

Anyone who says any kind of school is fun is lying. It' not very fun to wake up at 5am every morning and doing homework every night..

honestly, highschool is just a more populated version of middle school.

You'll be fine, and it will start out just the same. You do not learn much new material your first year of highschool anyway, and you'll enjoy it.

It just depends on your school. Don't worry about that movie--it's fake, that's why people make movies--they pick extraordinary fictional stories to entertain us.

Some high schools suck and have a lot of bullies, others don't. You'll probably figure it out quickly. Just be who you are. That's the best advice I can give you. Don't worry about getting beat up. If someone approaches you, the best thing you can do is keep walking and don't like start crying or something. Bullies feed off of fear and perceived weakness. It's okay if you're scared, that's normal, but just try to be who you are.

High school can be a wild ride. I hope you enjoy it!

My sister is about to be freshman too. She doesn't care at all. Just stay cool and no one will bother you. Don't look like a loner either. The seniors will get attention on you or you just be lucky.

Bottom line, high school will always be g*y. Your lucky your popular, some of us were less fortunate. My best advice would be spread your friendships out to every "click". "Clicks" are hard to not fall into, but try your best to not be in the one who treats everyone like ****. Don't just be that popular person all the nerds and outcasts hate because you completely ignore them. Drugs are bad, don't do them. Trust me... I know. Bullies are mean but at the same time, you need to remember that they might just have a reason to be pissed off. That right there is real. Also if they pick on you, just ignore them or laugh, when they realize that their petty jokes and what not don't effect I promise they will leave you alone :)

HS is not a popularity contest anymore, if you are well rounded and get along with ppl well then you will be fine.

Just be confident in yourself, always speak your mind, and respect others.

My high school was mixed, white, hispnics, blacks and other races and everyone got along fine, by HS ppl are mature enough not to BULLY or pick on you, and if they do, then they envy you, or they have some serious issues, one being insecurity,

HS was some of the best years of my life!! :)

Make the most of it, don't take it for granted, and don't be in a hurry to grow up, right after HS is when life does change significantly and that's what you should be worried about, yet HS will prepare you, mentally and also emotionally, you will experience much, just make sure you learn from your mistakes and grow.

HS was a breeze compared to middle school, just be worried if you go to a school in the ghetto with gangs, cuz then you do have something to worry about, if their are no gangs, then you are Free, nothing can compare to what you would endure in a HS with gangs, crews and stupid fools, but even then Always stand up for yourself, walk tall!

People do stick to their groups, you know, Pretty boys, thugs, emos, regular ppl, but they still socialize,

IDK what's wrong with the ppl before me saying HS sucks, they must have had terrible experiences.

I took honors classes, I knew most of my class :)

had plenty friends, ....

no one worries about popularity no more thats stupid kid ****, people mature and you will learn many valuable life lessons in HS so don't be afraid to break the rules once in a while, its better to learn at a young age than when you're older.

I always waited last min to do my hw, i ditched a few times and still graduated with honors, I never failed a class :)

you will encounter some ignorant ppl though and teachers will try to brainwash you, Never conform, and always THINK for yourself

the parties are gonna be ill!! and the ppl are going start experimenting with their sexuality so make some friends :)

im 16 in the 11th grade and i think its impossible to avoid a bully and im considered popular. high school is just like middle school there is just more students more drama and more homework..
