Help! Ryanair baggage/dimensions question!?

I understand this question may make me sound like an idiot, but any help would be appreciated. I am flying to Spain in a week from Glasgow, and I see hand baggage has to be 10kg and not exceed the maximum dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 20cm. My question is: what is 10kg in stones/pounds so I can weight it on my bathroom scales and also is the dimensions height, width & depth, in that order? If so my bag fits, if its width or whatever first then my bag is too big.

Thanks!

  1. honey, don't fly by ryanair, is a sh****

  2. Ryanair is a bad airline for baggage , a friend of mine has just been charged £135.00 for going over her 10kg other airlines allow you at least 15kg so be very careful it could cost dearly.

  3. i used to work for them and they are very strict on bagge as fuel is so high now if you unsure go to the check in on the day of departure and ask the girls can you weigh your bag as that will be more accurate than your bathroom scales .if the bag is the small roller one you buy in any luggage shop it will fit.its just that not all bags fit in the over head compartment.if your bag is bigger than this go to primark they are selling the small roller bag for like 10 pound now and if you do need to take out anything simply put it out in the car.also since you said its your hand baggage your handbag eg purse has to fit into that bag so keep that in mind .liquids cant be over 100 mils and the usual no sharp items.all liquids must be put into a clear plastic bag .
