Yeah, it's a nice silhouette to wear with jeans.  Just make sure you pick jeans that look intensionally darker or lighter than the blue color in the top so that you don't look monochromatic.  Also, because the top is a little dressier, a more laid-back natural hair style and makeup look would suit the look better.

I guess, but it's kind of fancy.  With blue, it might look nautical.  I try to dress nice but casual for the first day of school so it doesn't look like I'm trying too hard.  Good luck!

It would look really nice with black jeans or if you want to be really bold, try yellow jeans from forever21.
