  1. before you start look for similar items to give yourself an idea of how much you can except to sell your items for

to sell on ebay you need to register as a seller

  2. Have you made up an account first of all? If oyu do that then just go 2 sell and put in your items ifnormation. I haven't sold anything before, well I  have but my Mum does it for me. But you must have an account ofcourse.

  3. Do you want to sell your garage items or your are going to be a professional seller?Ebay needs "persistency".

And don't try to *sell* products. Instead your job should be- "to uncover what your customers'  needs are and help them to see how you can solve their problems"

  4. , E-Bay has a  free step by step on-line program , go to ebays help or site map it shouldn't be hard to find , there looking for people just like you ......

. I sell on ebay and the MOST important thing you should know  is , no matter what, is to try and keep your feedback at 100%, it's not easy, my feedback is 99.9%/ 989 ,especially in the beginning, that is the first thing someone looks at before they buy..

2nd most important...always get delivery confirmation when you send a package, you wouldn't believe how many times people said they never received  there item ,and I'll send them the delivery confirmation proof and you never here from them again, thats the only proof you have that you sent it if you don't have any proof you'll  have to give back there money because ebay will side with the buyer, or if yiou refused to give back there money, you can be suspended and they will give you a negitive, and there goes your good feedback..

.if i can help you with any other questions ,I will ,anytime my ID on ebay is ( 45larmel)  you can email me from there Goodluck

  5. Just make sure that the start price that you put on the item you are selling is the least amount of money you would accept for your item.

Time and again you hear of people not sending or nor recdeving the items they won because the seller 'thought it would go for more'.

Take it slow, research items that are similar to your own, don't take the p*ss with the amount you charge for your postage, then just enjoy it.

    Don't take it too seriously.

I sell a few bits and bobs every few weeks (mostly clothes that my kids ahve outgrown) and i try to list 5 maximum at a time. That way when the listings end I only have 5 things to keep track of regarding paid for and packed!!

    Good luck
