  1. Fire the victim and tell the perp never to do it again. Destroy all evidence.  You don't want a lawsuit on your hands.

  2. First, and most imporant, they should protect the complainant. They should take the complaint seriously, and they should keep the complainant informed about what's going on in the investigation.

There should be an in-depth investigation. The accused should be questioned, as well as any witnesses.

The human resources people should make a decision about the truth of the complaint, and should act swiftly to resolve the issue. Upper management must be kept in the loop at all times.

If the allegations are found to be true, the accused should be assessed for his or her value to the company. If the value justifies it, the accused should be counseled, punished, or whatever the company and the complainant deem fair. If the accused does not have great and irreplaceable value, he or she should be discharged immediately.

If the allegations are found to be false, the accuser should be fired on the spot. The company cannot allow itself to be open to that sort of liability on an ongoing basis.

  3. most places have a zero tolerance for sexual harassment, if not so severe may just be let off with a warning or, like how can i say "expelled" for a wekk but at my job a guy that i worked with slapped a womans *** from behind it looked like his wife [it really did] not only was he fired, but sued for such an easy, easy mistake

  4. I went thru this procedure from my immediate boss who bullied me, which included hitting me on the hand, she has done this since to another new recruit, I reported her after three long years of abuse as I didn't think I had the guts to to do it, and I did and won.  First report it to your line manager who will set up a meeting with personnel and yourself and with the perpetrator of the abuse, then together.  Please gather all your facts, times, places and probably you have no witnesses but don't let that stop you.  Stand firm, God believes you and you owe it to yourself and future work mates to do this. Maybe you are the first to have the courage. I was asked if I was a member of union but my son is a solicitor so no need, but I am going to join one in case that evil woman dares try it on with me again.  Be strong and do it and GOOD LUCK.  Bless you you are worth more than this xx Luv Cam.
