Help! Should I upgrade my amp or add another subwoofer?

Hey I have an Acura TL 1999 and I just don't get enough umph out of my subwoofer and amp. What I have is:

- 500 W amp Rockford Fosgate P500-1bd

- One 4 ohm, 12 inch, 500 W RMS, 1000 W Max Rockford P3D412 Subwoofer

I feel like my sub isn't kicking enough and was wondering if I should upgrade the sub or upgrade the amp, and if I upgraded my amp, I was thinking about getting a t1500-1bd.... which would be more effective in giving me that feeling I want? The AMP?

I would try a 800w thunder amp with a bass boost adjuster Ive never doubted a mtx amp and usually you would want to go a little bit higher than the rms on the amp to the sub but not to much to avoid distortion.

go with a jl audio sub,with that amp u should rattle ur car very nicely
