  2. I agree I have been telling people for years p2p is not safe dont use limewire or bittorrent any shareware or free ware has some downfall and usually its your computer taking the punishment

about 6 months ago I live in fresno california area this guy has his house raided by the fbi and local task force they rushed in took him and his family into custody and took his kids to child protective services they charged him and his wife for child pornography, well in the end it turned out he was using limewire for downloading music some people some "sickos "  had emeded the mp3 files with child pono movie clips they were using limewire as there server

you see every time you log onto limewire and download a song from some one the file log on there end shows them who downloaded the song off of there software " like a server" all they have to do is have your "leaf" file name to directly connect to you next time you log into limewire and they can directly "connect" to your personal "computer" like a "server" and use that to view the child Pornography without ever having it on there computer but it is on yours !!!!

just one major reason why it is a bad idea to use these type of services i use to use lime wire till i found that out and I refuse to let anyone use me as a tool for there sick personal gain

  3. You need a spyware or malware remover. http://www.malware.org has a pretty good little program that our IT dept uses here in the office.

  4. If it's being blocked, there is nothing to worry about.Norton is doing it's job so relax.

  5. UNinstall the game.  It's has bugs.

  6. First and foremost, REMOVE THE GAME FROM YOUR COMPUTER by using the add/remove programs tool.  Then you can find the hacker's ISP by going to http://www.ip2location.com/ and typing in their IP address.  This will tell you all sorts of information such as their location, time zone, zip code, and most importantly their ISP.  You can then contact the Service Provider and give them the hacker's IP address.  They will more than likely press charges.

  7. The file you downloaded had the embedded virus in it. This is why so many people keep telling people on Y!A not to download freebie games, software, music etc. But people keep doing it. At least now you know.

You can do a search on the IP address - it will not tell you who it is - but it will tell you the company that owns that IP (usually a internet service provider). You can then contact that internet service provider and give them the IP number and tell them that the person with this IP address is attacking your computer. They can (and usually do) file charges against the person for illegal use of their terms of contract.
