  1. if your running windows xp or vista the restore program thats on it uses a little bit of hard drive space overtime to basicly create restore points. Over a period of 2 years on my 160gb HD I had about 35gb of restore points on my computer. If you go to START>PROGRAMS>ACCESORIES>SYSTEM TOOLS>DISK CLEANUP you can usually clear alot of space and saved restore points and other unused files

  2. Chances are it's spyware.

  3. It sounds like you have a keylogger infection, i suggest paying a visit to http://www.trendmicro.com/download/produ... also http://www.trendmicro.com/download and get hijack this, also http://www.pctools.com/mirror/sdsetup.ex... make sure that u set it the options to scan for rootkits. if that isn't the problem i'd check the recycle bin also download http://www.ccleaner.com/update/

  4. Virus or spyware

  5. Is there a backup program on your PC that does backups and saves it to your H drive?

  6. You could disable System Restore. It's not recommended but It will free up space. Goto start, control panel, System and Maintenance, System,  on the left side click on System Protection, and uncheck the "C:\" drive.
