Hey guys! I was wondering about my classes for next year... I don't know if it will be too stressful/hard for me.

Modern Euro AP

Trig/Analysis AP

Chemistry

Spanish III H

World Lit. H

I'm debating whether or not to take Literature H. However, I really enjoy reading and writing! I had 2 B+ this semester in both my honors classes...

Thanks in advance! :-)

  1. One thing my guidance counselor taught me is being in a honors class and then dropping to a regular level class looks BAD to colleges.

If you are in AP classes, you should able to handle all honors classes. If you don't think you can handle an honors english class, then you probably cannot handle two AP classes. They are very difficult, nothing like you are used to.

  2. AP Euro - A lot to memorize, a lot of book work.

AP Trig/Math Analysis - In the beginning,Trig is pretty hard to some people (like me) but when you get to the Calculus parts, it should be pretty easy.

Chemistry - I took Chem Honors and got a B, and i didn't even try very hard - -x you should be able to get an A.

Spanish III H - I never took it, but it should be pretty hard if you're not a native speaker. My friends have to say speeches in Spanish, but I think you've probably done that.

World Lit. H. - World Literature? what's this? hahaha.

Drawing II - Drawing is fun. You might have to learn about the history of art though.

Literature H - wouldn't this be 7 periods? i think 7 periods is illegal. hahaha. This might make you hate reading though. Literature focuses on poetry and the teacher forces you to read boring books. But it might be interesting? If you like books...

Tennis & Track - This would probably be your 1st or 6th period, so you might have to drop a class during the season.

You have a lot of hard classes! If you really think it would be a hard workload, change some of your classes when you can, because if you take all AP/Honrs classes, it would be more likely to get straight Bs. IF you take AP/Honors classes ALONG with normal classes, it would be easier to ace your AP/Honors classes, and get As in everything. 4.0 looks better than a 3.0 right? (unweighted) because schools look at unwieghted GPA first.

but do what you feel is right. goodluck junior? year? it's the worst year of your life.

  3. It depends how you feel about the subjects. You're obviously in AP classes because you're very smart. The drawing and tennis classes helps balance everything out. If you can try and take the APs because that will help when you go to college. If you like writing take the Euro class but maybe drop the Math one? Again, pick the ones that you know will be less stressful and you are most confident in. Good luck!
