Question:

Help! Spay recovery?

My dog got spayed on tuesday.. And i'm here at home by myself and i noticed at the top it looks like its coming undone and it's red there. There's nothing coming out of it though. I'm here by myself because my mom and dad are at work. I've been very paranoid since the day she got it considering she is only 6 months so it's been a struggle to keep her still. Despite everything she has been running circles and jumping everywhere. We don't have a crate. So i tried keeping her in the bathroom but when i do that she whines and scratches for hours so that may be doing more harm than good.

Any suggestions or personal stories?

thanks

  1. Ummm....I think your in the wrong section. This is for toddlers.

I don't have a dog so I can't help your question, but I do think you'd get more answers on the pet section. But if you have concerns about it, you should definetely call them back. There should be a number you can call for after hours or weekends.

  2. Your in the toddler section there is a section for animals. I've never had a child spayed.

But sometimes they do put stitches on the inside and they are not visible on the outside and it will look as if the skin is seperating. A little red is okay it is trying to heal as long as there is not drainage and swelling.Just keep an eye on it our pom was the same way refused to hold still.
