I have had a standard tea rose bush for a few years and it has always been lovely till this year. Although it has many buds and flowers all the leaves from the bush have gone. At the beginning of summer it looked like black spots and I sprayed the bush all was well now there are no leaves at all. Will the rose die? why am I getting lots of buds and flowers?

  1. I got 45 different types of roses in my garden. Sometimes they are "temperamental" that you cannot expect them all to perform consistently. Try pruning it around. Continue your regular spraying and fertilizing. Dont forget adding bone meal or hoofs and horn around the base and water well. Check if it is receiving at least 6 hours of sun daily.

  2. I agree with the previous reply.  Feed it (Rose feed also) and prune it.  Fingers crossed it will come back.
