  1. Battery is shot or not connected. Try jumping it with a car but don't clamp the cables on the motorcycle battery just lightly touch them on

  2. dead battery cause you left the rear tail light parking light on

( turning the key to the far left position then removing the key activates the parking light and you walked off without seeing it was on)

I hate Suzuki the way they have that set up!

if you're confident the battery is not dead, then check the fuse box, Suzuki is noted for electrical problems, if the fuses are ok, check the kill button, it sometimes sticks in the closed position, check the clutch lever and kickstand lever switches

are you sure the red kill switch is on?

no,,,  I didn't say you're stupid, but always double check the simple things first

the reason the ing plug connection melted is because of a loose and corroded connection

after you install a new plug connector I highly suggest you apply generous amounts of "DI-Electric Grease", this will keep the connectors from corrosion and waterproof, and do the same to all the connector plugs.

    " DI-ELECTRIC GREASE"

  3. there could be a split wire or a bad spark plug  try a meter on every wire and you'll find it good luck! if you cant figure it out you can always call petes cycle and they will be happy to try and help give suggestions.

  4. Sounds like your battery is farked.  The "maintenance-free" sealed batteries that most modern bikes have can fail rather suddenly sometimes.

  5. get a meter and check the battery leave the meter connected to the battery and try to start it,if you see a big voltage drop the battery is wasted.
