  1. pretty much what everyone else has said has covered it except for one thing. If you gain weight you will most likely drop that time because you will have more power to get you through the water. I have seen some really great swimmers kill their careers because they lost a lot of weight and when they did they lost their power. So don't worry about losing weight. Worry about gaining weight. Muscle weighs more than fat so don't worry you will be better off.

  2. OK , first things first, if u are 6 ft 2 in., then it is OK to be 106.4! unless u want 2 be a skinny, wiry tall person, then i say you should eat more! swimmers are SUPPOSED to weigh more, and weighing only 106.4 when u are 6 ft tall is considered REALLY BAD if u are a swimmer. now, if u r trying 2 be a super skinny model, then sure, eat less, but swimming isn't gonna help u loose weight, it's just gonna add more cuz of your muscles.

  3. In order to drop more time in swimming you need to gain weight.  You are to light, and probably have some muscle wasting.  You need to build more muscle, hit the swim bench and the weight room.  When you get to a level of national cuts or AAAA time standards the swimmers are solid muscle.  I swam at this level AAA/AAAA competition and the best swimmers weighed 145-160 and were pretty tall 5'7"-6'0"

  4. dude...if your that tall...u need to weigh much more...much of that wieght is probably muscle, not fat. you dont want to loose your muscle.... for example, im a swimmer, 5'7" and i weight 120!!!! and i have no fat!!! also dont overwork youself... then you'll be tired and swim slower. thats really important!!! just keep at it, eat well, swim (but dont overwork youself) stay focused.. and it will happen in all good time

P.S. learn how to spell!!!! i almost couldnt figure out what you were saying!!!

  5. First of all.. I'm going to teach you how to spell...

    weigh, not whey

    sure, not shor

    breast, not brest

    weight, not whate

    done, not dun

    our, not are

    normal, not normale

    just, not jest

    lust, not luss

Alright now.. if you are 6'2" you should not be weighing 100 pounds or even your current weight of 106!! Swimmers are supposed to have muscle.. take it from me, I have a nationals time & am almost a registered dietitian. If you are trying to become a serious swimmer.. eat! But if you want to be a model.. good luck.

  6. if anything, you are underweight and shouldn't be trying to lose anything. try building up your muscle mass instead. you'll gain weight, but you'll be stronger and your breast stroke might be better.

dont try to lose any weight!!!!!!!!!!
