Help! There's something in my eye!?

I was plucking my eyebrows yesterday and I blinked and I felt some irritation, so I'll assume that what has currently taken residence in my eye is one of those hairs.

However I can't see it actually on my eye. I can only feel the irritation when I blink/have my eyes closed, so does this mean that it is under the eyelid?

I've had it there for 24 hours now, and for 2 hours I was rinsing my eyes out with water (not pleasant), pulling my eyelid forward and rolling my eye around to dislodge the item, and trying to search under the lid with a wet cotton bud.

But to no avail! Will it just come out by itself after a while? It's so annoying..

Don't use water...that c**p BURNS.  Get some eye rinse.  Yeah it sounds like you have it embedded under your eyelid.
