  1. WOW,

liz carlo, i have been training as a vet for years and you got that right on the money, exept the tumer he is discribing (a backteriol tumer) the pet has pretty good chance of dieing, not even a vet can help him now. I am triand to say this but this time it comes from the hart, When you take a pet into your home, you accept responceablity that means love it and take care of it dureing death, all you can do  now is love it and say goodbye.

    PS

THIS IS VEARY IMPORTANT DO NOT TUCH THE TUMER, SOME TUMERS CAN COSE SICKNESS IN HUMENS AND WILL HURT YOU. YOU NEED GLOVES.

im so sorry about your cat.

  2. It wouldn't be a tumor. If it is round and kind of squishy when you feel it, then it is just a blood vessel that popped. My cat had that. You can either get surgery, or wait for it to go down on it's own. We took our cat to the vet and decided to just wait for it to go down. Surgery would of caused the ear to crinkle up like a Cauliflower ear. Waiting for it to go on its own caused it to only crinkle a little. If it doesn't go down within a couple of weeks, then you should definitely go get it checked out just to make sure. I'm pretty positive that it's just a popped blood vessel though.
