I am six months pregnant with our second child. We decided not to find out the s*x of our child but am being told by many that we are having a boy. Here's our dilemma.. My best friend, Hope, was killed in a car accident a few years ago and I want to be able to use her name in our child's name. It's easy for a girl but we are having a very hard time trying to incorporate it into a boy's name. Also...not to make things harder but we have been trying to stick to a "J" theme as all of our first names begin with J. The J thing doesn't have to carry on as long as we can come up with a boys name that can incorporate the name of my best friend Hope. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks so much for your help!!

  1. This is going to be hard.

Jepoh  - J+hope backwards, kind of weird though

Jeepoh - like Depot but with a "J". also weird

Jayhope - also weird. say it as the H is silent. Jay-ope.

Hooper - like Cooper but with an "H". Possible middle name

    Hoper - Hope + r

Hopete - Hope + Pete, or Hopeter, or "H" can be silent, which would would pronounce OH-PETE, or Hopetey (Oh-Pete-e)

Alright I give up thats hard.

  2. Boy names that mean hope:

    Amal

    Amali

    Amel

    Elpis

    Elpidio

    Natsuki

    Umed

    Umit

    Von

  3. I could not find any boy names meaning "hope" that begin with J.

But those do, so maybe you could make one a middle name instead:

    AMAL   f & m   Arabic

    ELPIDIUS   m   Late Roman

    IMEDA   m   Georgian

    KAZUKI   m   Japanese

    KOUKI   m   Japanese

    OMID   m & f   Iranian

    TOIVO   m   Finnish

    UMUT   m & f   Turkish

    YUUKI   m & f   Japanese

    Also here: http://babynamesworld.parentsconnect.com...

But most of them are girl names and none start with J.

  4. go to this web site http://www.babynamesfamily.com/boy_baby_...

there are alot of names u might like

  5. You would have to pick a first name that is very dominant for males, like jefferson, joshua, jackson, jonathon, etc.

i think jackson hope is nice, you could call him jack

or jefferson hope isn't too bad either, calling him jeff

    good luck! :)

  6. Just make it the middle name

    Jackson Hope

    Jayden Hope

    Jamal Hope

    Jordan Hope

    James Hope

Just make the first name very masculine.
