Help! Urgent! Virus in Email?!

I was just on the Yahoo! Homepage and I checked my mail inbox the drop down way. There was messge with nothing but zeros in the subject.

I clicked on it, and it lead me to a google search, and when I closed Firefox, it restarted it over and over again?

What the h**l?

I'm going to do a virus scan....

  1. Yes, that is a virus, have fun. No but seriously, scan, and if necessary do a restore to fix the problem. Then stop answering emails that look... computer generated.

    Disconnect your computer from the internet

    If there are the reboot into Safe

  5. You can't get a virus just by reading a plain-text E-mail message. What you have to watch out for are encoded messages containing embedded executable code (i.e., JavaScript in an HTML message) or messages that include an executable file attachment.
