Help!!! What I should I do?

I just got a Gateway m-6843 notebook as a gift. From all the reviews, it seems like a good laptop. Very fast, 160 gb hard drive and 3 gig ram. It's equipped withe windows Vista and SP1. I'm not going to need to use it this school year though. I wont have access to wireless and there are computers to use for reports etc. Should I return it, get a gift card, and then the next schoolyear, buy another laptop. Is it with it to do that or should I keep the laptop?

I'd go with getting a gift card, if they do have one for a years validity..

Its got TWO GB RAM, not 3...

If they give me a $700 GC, I'd take it, I'll probably get aa better laptoop a year down the line when I'll need it..
