Ok so after reading up on this, I think I may have a yeast infection...

Idk why, what makes you get them?

Also, do you go to a regular doctor or a gyn?

Plus I am on my period, should I wait to go after?

Oh and I am afraid to talk to my mom about this so I am screwed because I turn 19 in a few days and will not have insurance.

What if she asked to take a look to see if it really was, I shave down there and don't what her knowing, she would flip out.

I do have a liscense but no access to a car and all my friends that do drive are busy.

As you see im up shyts creek and no paddle....

Help!

  1. A yeast infection can come from not keeping your vaginal area free from any foreign matter.  Even the tiniest amount can start it.  Your mom dies NOT have to check yo out, your MD or OB/GYN will, and at your age mom doesn't need to see your genitals.  That is a wholly private matter between you and your doctor(s).  It's a simple matter to cure, but left  untreated, it can cause you some very serious health issues.

SIDE NOTE: if anyone ever wonders why baby girls GENERALLY  never get yeast infections from soiled diapers, it's due to the hymen protecting them from foreign matter yeast infections.

  2. Asking your mom about it i don't think is a bad idea, but i think you will be shy.Ask your doctor first,or ask someone that knows about it.

    I hope you are ok..

  3. Why would your mom care if you shave you're almost 19
