Help! What do I get my parents for their 25th Wedding Anniversary?

There are 3 kids total and one wife and one fiancee we all five together already planned a hudge get together where their friends and family and people that were involved in the original wedding celebration will be there to celebrate its going to be a huge summer party in the backyard.

MY QUESTION IS now what do we get them for a gift? Like I said there is 5 of us and after buying all the party stuff we are kinda broke and with the five of us we can all pitch in about 25 to 50 bucks. We were looking for a together gift for both parents. Any ideas will be helpful!!!

How about a nicely framed portrait of the parents (with or without offspring), and then give copies to all who attend the fiesta.

Something we have given AND have received is an Arthur Court piece with an engraving of the name and occasion and date.  It is something you can use to serve on, is indestructible, and doesn't have to be polished.  There are many sizes and price ranges to choose from.  There just has to be enough smooth flat surface on it to engrave on.

The 25th anniversary is the sterling silver one, and you've got more than enough to buy them *something* silver.

Visit a good department store. Check decorative objects, serving trays, picture frames, etc.

If you were my family, I'd probably really like a pair of silver-framed pictures, one of the bridal couple then and one empty, waiting for a 'now' photo. I bet you have enough for that.

a silver tray. on the tray all of you have placed an envvelope.  in the envelopes are letters.   all of you write a separate " love letter" and in it describe a favorite memory of them or of your family together, and tie it all up with a silver bow.

I think a nice gift would be a nice night out. You could get them tickets to a play or show. If you know of a good restaraunt nearby you could get them a gift certificate for that along with the tickets or even a night stay at a hotel nearby and have the staff put something in the room acknowledging their 25th anniversay. I think this certaintly would be do-able if you each chipped in 50 bucks. Good luck!

25th anniversary is the silver anniversary, maybe a nice photo of all the kids or something in a silver frame.
