What are the old fashoined credit card machines called? You know...the ones where you swipe it on paper?????

  1. In the 50's I think they had something called charge plates and then the ones the retailers used where they would place your card in with carbon paper and copy the information is called an imprinter. I hope this is what you are wanting to know. Have a great day.

  3. To check your credit report, the ONLY place you should go is annualcreditreport.com. You get to view it once per year for free, and a small fee each other time within a year.

    To check your credit score the ONLY place you should go is myfico.com. Why? This is THE site  that banks and other creditors use to judge your credit qualifications. The rest are useless.
