Help! What is wrong with my toe nail?

Well, my big toe on my left foot has been sore recently and just an hour or so ago i stubbed it on my dresser and the nail came up a little bit, and some pus came out! is this an infection? its not discolored but some what more pink. what is wrong?! Also, my second toe on my left foot (which is longer than my first) is pretty much black but i cant remember any contusions to it! help! what do I do!? anf what is this?!

  1. u either have a really bad infection, or u may have a circulatory issue that might need to be addressed by a doctor. if i were u i would be making an appointment to see a dr soon


  2. it sounds like an ingrown toenail.

    redness, soreness are sure signs.......the pus is a definite sign of infection

    my advice is to soak foot in water as hot as you can handle for 20-30 minutes then you have to trim nail and get the corner out of toe where it is digging in

    black toe? not sure about this one....hmmm


  3. You have an ingrown toenail. What I do so that doesn't happen is every night before bed, I put my thumb nail under it and kind of lift the edge of the side up.  You could just clip a little bit of the side of it off; The part where it is jabbing into your toe.
