I really really want a laptop and have done for a while. I go to a grammar school (where you have to pass a test) and we get loads of homework and it will be much easier with my own laptop especially as im going to be starting coursework for GCSE's this year. My mum isn't very sure at the moment though. For christmas I was planning to simply ask for a laptop and nothing else and see what happend, as my birthday is in february I thought maybe i could get one for a joint present. However there are several things I do want besides a laptop such as twilight related items etc. Also I want to take an audition for the naitional youth theatre which costs 300 pounds if i get through auditions. My family does not have much money, so i don't know what to do. My dad will only spend about 50 pound on my present but my mum nearer 150-200(my parents are split). my nanna about 100. what should i do?

asked similar before but with not many replies. thanks.

  1. you need to figure out what the most important thing to have is..if the laptop is really important towards your work then try and see if it would be possible to get..however you have to prioritizee you can't get everything
