  1. i went from eating everything and throwing it up from 8-12 weeks and now i don't want to eat anything except flaming hot cheetos!! i just don't have an appetite anymore and the smell of coffee(which i love) makes me sick! ive lost like 10 lbs since getting pregnant, and i just entered my 14th week, its pretty normal to have weird eating habits, try eating soup because it had veggies, and some meat and its not real heavy good luck!.

  2. I think it's normal. I lost 6 lbs during my first trimester because I was too nauseous to eat. Now at 18 weeks my appetite is still like half what it was before pregnancy and I've only gained 1 lb (compared to pre-preg weight).

My doctor told me to only eat what I felt like and not worry about it because at this stage your baby is taking nutrients from your body if it's not getting it from your food, and that's fine. As long as you're avoiding fatty sugary foods you'll be alright & healthy.

  3. I lost weight the first trimester, myself, your appetite should pick up in the next few weeks. Just make sure you are eating something and drinking plenty of fluids.

  4. I hardly ate anything in the first 3 months of pregnancy and even lost weight but then the second trimester hit and although I still have days where nothing sounds good my appetite is definitely back with a vengeance. I just started my third trimester and have noticed that I'm really hungry but fill up on less food and have to eat more often.

  5. at 12 weeks its still more common to have food aversions and slight morning sickness than cravings and intense hunger. i would say hunger really kicks in at about 16+ weeks, then you should start trying to consume about 300 more calories a day than normal.

  6. Congrat's on your pregnancy, it's normal that you undergo some of these changes it's your Hormonal in-balance that creates these so called side effects, it usually becomes better after the 3rd month and that when you will regain your taste bubs and appetite, especially if this is your first pregnancy your body needs to take the time to adjust.

Try to have at least some high fiber and dairy products as much as possible. I had to stay away from meat and fish I simply could not handle it.

Good luck and hang in there, it does get better!

  7. at about 12 weeks i had no appetite at all but than i came back around 15 weeks so your fine it is normal as long as you eat something anything you should be ok :)
