We recently got a few more rabbits from my dad's friend who can't take care of them anymore. One of the does has 2 rock- hard lumps in her abdomen. One is large and one is small. Both are kinda jagged. I found this out while I was palpating her to see if she was pregnant(thank goodness she's not... She didn't have these lumps when we got her!) Well anyways, does anyone know what these lumps might be?

P.S. All the other rabbits seem to be fine.

  1. lumps in her stomach? that sounds like a pregnant rabbit to me.... whats palpating?

I would take her to the vet if i were you

  2. Has it had babies before? If it has then it migh tbe mastitis if its around the rabbits nipples. One of my rabbits got it after having a litter, but now shes fine but the lumps are still there. Try researching that and see if it helps. If theyre more internal then you need to have it checked out. It could be cancer or a fatty tumor.

  3. those lumps might be an internal issue, i used to be in a rabbit program at school and our teacher had us check different rabbits and to check there stomach, then we noticed that one of the rabbits had a hard lump so she said that, but never showed us, is that there suppose to be popped almost like a pimple, scary. my advice is to take your rabbit to a vet and ask.

  4. take it to the vet NOW! it could be cancer!
