Help With A Pool Question, Can You Swim In It When,..?

Can you get in a pool when you had chlorine setting in it for about 3 hours now?, Or is it a 24 hour process?

No little 13year olds answering, i need real answers.

I head that you can get chemical burn and everything, so im asking before i try anything stupid.

  1. you can go in. most pool chemicals now only make you wait about 15-30 min. before diving in. i do my chemicals at the end of the day when we are all done with the pool for the day.


  2. i am 13 but i have experianced that dilema before i have exema and my skin can become irritated with harsh chemicals if you do not have a skin condition you should be fine if you go in a least one hour after introducing the chlorine to the pool.

  3. I would test the chlorine first and make sure that it is within safe limits to swim.  It will irritate your skin, eyes, nose, mouth, etc. if its too strong.
