Help With Cable Management?

ok, before i begin here are my specs

Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3 iP35 mobo

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 G0 Stepping (2.4GHz 1066MHz)

4GB OCZ DDR2 800MHz

Zotac 8800GT 512MB DDR3

500GB Hard Drive

Hp dvd-rw drive

620W coolermaster modular PSU

Vista Home Premium 64 bit

HP vs17e 17"monitor

now, i want to learn about cable management, here is a picture of my computers state atm.

not very good i know, lol.

anyway, i want to know what sort of stuff is needed i.e. cable ties etc and how to do cable management in a mid tower case.

  1. i have mine all folded and bundled together neatly with cable ties

Unless it really bothers you, i wouldnt touch it.  Mainly cause if you wanna upgrade or anything like that, to cut cable ties you need pliers or similar device - one false move and whoops, new motherboard time / graphics card all that stuff.  However, electrical tape is trickier to apply, but easier to manage.

  3. Instead of zippy ties, use Velcro cable ties, they're removable.
