  1. Start with the basics like toothbrush, deoderant, medicines, etc.  You won't need a hairdryer or shampoo because they're provided in your cabin.  Anything that might make a mess if it opens in your suitcase should be packed in a plastic bag.  Then, pack 2-3 bathing suits (so that you have one to wear while the other dries).  You won't need towels, they're on the ship.  Next, pack active clothes, like shorts, shirts, and tennis shoes for all the activities like rock wall climbing if you think you might do those (don't pack more sets than you think you'll need).  Pack whatever formalwear you will need (check the cruise guidelines).  Don't forget sunscreen!  Have a great trip!

  2. Packing for a cruise is quite easy.  What you regularly wear to the beach, around a pool, walking around town, dining out or going to a New Year's Eve party, are the same things you'll need for a cruise.  Count out your outfits, especially for evening to make sure you have enough to wear.  Mix & match your clothing;  if you bring a skirt, you can wear it more than once with a different top.  You should also pack some off-season clothing, as it may not always be sunny and warm, plus, the inside areas on the ship are "very" air conditioned.  If you need to buy some clothes, make a list!  If you're planning on buying t-shirts, hats, etc. on the ship or ports of call, you can wear them on your cruise too.

Cruises are pretty casual, however, there are some dress codes for formal nights, and what to wear when you're walking around the ship.

Don't forget to click and print the Printer Friendly Version because it has checkboxes and extra spaces for you to write in other things you think of.  Hope it helps!

  5. Just google cruise packing list. There are lots of sites on there.

  6. I was in Cabo last May. It was 95F and about 90% humidity. Even with shorts and a light polo shirt I was still sweating. Pack light clothes and a hat, like a raffia Hawaiian hat, that you can pack easily. I doubt you will need warm clothes but pack one set just in case.

  7. pack all your basics but dont forget to bring something warmer to wear, it is chilly when heading down the coast, and then again on the return trip. Bring lots of sunblock, i went thru 2 spray bottles and still got a nice tan. Its an awesome itenery so have fun (we just got back March 2)
