Help With Dyeing Cotton?

I want to dye a bunch of shirts that are 60% cotton and 40% polyester. Whats the best and cheapest way I can? Any help would be great.

  2. Dying mixed fibers tends to give mixed results.  Something like Dylon Machine Dye works well on the cotton content, but you cannot dye polyester successfully at home.  The results tend to be washed out looking and patchy.

  3. You can use Rit Dye. It's been around forever and it's readily available in grocery stores.
