Help With My Wedding Flowers

Question

Ok so here is the deal, I am planning a May 2009 wedding and my colors are white, yellow, and lilac. I am planning on doing the flowers myself. I want a pretty flower that would be easy to do but not so traditional like roses and such. Any ideas?????

I'm not sure if ranunculus is in season but I absolutely love this flower! Match it up with lilac hydrangea :)

Gerbera daisies are beautiful flowers and very affordable.

I agree with the first answer. Dahlias are so beautiful and come in every shape, size and color.

Go see a florist or do some research it on your own.  Find out what flowers are in season in May and find a local floral wholesaler in your area that will be able to sell you flowers around that time of year.  

Personal Fav's and I do belive that they are in season in May are Calla Lillies.  They always look elegant at weddings.  They come in a variety of colours but white is always classic and beautiful.
