Help.. With Photo Editing,,,.... Please

Question

Okay,, I've seen people photo edit stuff and .. It always looks so good .. They put really cool lines and stuff threw the picture with out messing up the picture .. I was wondering how you do that...

you need adobe photoshop. its expensive unless you are a student and buy from a student software website or you can buy it from your university. once you have it, there are filters which can make your image do lots of things. more than you can imagine

I have a firend that has a photo forum maybe they could help there.. basically you need a good photo editing program.. .you could try shareware.com or buy adobe or another program. some programs come free with scanners or digi cams. you might already have some. you can click on my blog to get links to my friends blog and website for links to his forums.

Photoshop is probably your answer, but a good solid example of what you're talking about would be helpful.  I do have photoshop now, but there are a lot of really wonderful image editors our there that are much less expensive.  My friend is a graphic designer that has won three photoshop guru awards and she didn't start on photoshop.  She used some other picture publisher and her results were never less magnificent!  I used Micrographix picture publisher for the longest time.  I'm honestly not even sure if they're still around, but it was very cheap and a really wonderful program.  In fact, there are some things about it that I still prefer OVER photoshop.  It's worth googling I think.  :)
