Well basiclyyy, when i go on a rollercoaster my tummy turns badlyyyy.

and i really really hate it, and i want to make it stop because i love rollercoasters but hate having to get really scared and closing my eyes and holding on tight lol :)

But yeah, i have motion sickness and take tablets but i don't knoww.

Any suggestions on how to stop this 'tummy turning'

Thanks!

  1. I have the same problem, I really don't think there is a definite way to stop it from happening, but you can make the turning a little better.

when i went to six flags with my friends, someone's sister was with us. She basically dragged us on to some of the scariest roller coasters I ever went on. I was pretty much getting really freaked out as we went up, and she told me something that has helped me till this day:

as you're going up, breath in and out slowly, and as you reach the peek of the fall, let the air flow out slowly, then SCREAM!

it worked for me, but I'm not sure if it'll work for everyone. I don't know, it probably just lessened my nerves or something.

Hey, your problem is better than mine! I have this phobia thing of log rides, and last time I went on, I was crying hysterically, with little kids starring at me.

  2. best thing to do is scream scream just as the ride starts so your scremaing throughout that helps with the weid belly sensation well it helps me anyway! :)

  3. Clench your stomach muscles  -  although it may give you cramp.

  4. funny thing i went to six flags and got on viper and it has 7 loops and once i got off my stomach was out of control but i love roller coasters and i took this medicine called demotrine you can get it in the nearest pharmist and you tell him about it and that should work but take it an hour earlier to have max effect

  5. Tighen up your stomach and try not to eat before going on.

  6. try ginger.  The ginger root is known to settle queasy stomachs.  You can get it in capsules from pharmacies.  Even ginger ale and ginger beer as long as it has some real ginger and not just artificial everything in it, will help. Just don't guzzle it after the ride, or it may not work fast enough before your body wants to heave it.

  7. I have the same problem but it always winds up me releasing it
