  1. You could try:

    1.) Having a hot bath

2.) Drinking anything hot e.g Hot chocolate, water, milk. (Not tea or coffee because the caffeine will keep you up)

3.) Watch Tv for a while

    4.) Read a book

5.) Turn a fan on beside you

6.) Listen to music that is soothing

  2. Get more exercise.  Most people don't get enough..... not sure what you do for a living but if you have a sedentary life a little exercise might help a lot.  Although you are against using pills/medicine if you are willing to give it a shot try melatonin.  It's a natural supplement you can get at any pharmacy.  Melatonin occurs naturally in the body all you would be doing is adding a bit extra to help yourself out.  I use it all the time. I have almost zero side effects from it

  3. hehehe.. just try this:

    *tap your pillow before sleeping.

    *put coins under your pillow.

    *pray before going to sleep.

*drink milk before going to sleep

  4. This may sound silly but try sleeping somewhere different. Some people sleep better depending on where they are or what they are trying to sleep on.

    Hope this helps. GOOD LUCK

  5. i have the trouble of waking up through the night and one night i was browsing the net and found this site. some ideas work well while others are a bit iffy. hope it helps

  6. Yes, I normally tire myself out lol.

You could read, watch a movie do exercise? Do something that makes you worn out basically.

Or you could try the old fashioned way by counting sheep jumping over a fence...

  7. Plenty of exercise is the best thing, read a book, watch a boring movie, and if all else fails, self pleasure will calm you.

  8. -Do more exercise during the day

    -Practise deep breathing

-Take a long bath in warm water before you go to bed.

    Good luck :)

  9. I used to have this problem too. I used to watch a good show or read a book that I liked. Warm milk and a nice bed is also very good to fall asleep!

  10. Cut out tea, coffee, chocolate and coca cola at night. They all contain caffeine.

If you are stressed, take a hot bath and a hot drink to bed.

If you overheat at night, open your window slightly or purchase a lighter quilt.

If you are cold, turn the heating up or get more covers/warmer pyjamas.

    Turn all electrical devices off.

Don't watch TV late at night before you sleep-instead read for half an hour-this is relaxing.

    Hope this helps! :)

  11. *Take a bath before sleeping.

    *Pray.

    *Watch TV to calm yourself.

    *Drink milk.

    *Think anything good.

  12. go to sleep and wake up at same time every night so your body gets into a rhythm. also, dont eat foods containing caffeine or too much sugar before bed. dont eat large quantities of food before bed either, but it may be a good idea to have a bowl of cereal before you go to bed so ur blood sugar levels dont drop (this causes a rush of adrenaline, waking u up in the middle of the night). having a hot milky drink can help too as milk contains a protein that aids sleep. in the hour before you go to sleep, dont watch tv or use a computer. have a nice warm bath with lavender, relax, and unwind with a light hearted book. also, if you cant get to sleep, dont stay in bed, get up and do something, then try again in an hour.
