  1. it is kind of hard to explain when not being physically there but ill give it my best shot just to hel you out. here we go.

but wait you didnt mention anything about blue and green and some other colored wire on your xbox do you have them? i think they are located in the same cord in which are the other normal ones (yello, red, and white) ok then here we go

the green, blue and the other color (cant remember what it is) are to be hooked on your tv under the same colored holes i think they are called females.( blue with blue, green with green , and the other one with its respective color)

then you still have three other wires left right? the yellow, white, and red ones, now you are just going to need the red and white ones, hook these up to your surrond sound reciever.(red with red and white with white) under where it has labeled aux. if it does.

did i tangle you up already, well i hope not,

then your xbox should be put on hd mode its on the other cord, not the ones with the colored wires(yello, red, white,) the one that goes to the electricity.

then put your tv on source or video mode until you see the xbox channel.

then turn on your surround system and put it on aux mode.

    i hope this helped.

  2. Okay, its kind of hard explaining when you can't physically see the setup. What I would do is -

Plug the opotical cable from the 360 to the amplifier.

Plug the component cables into the TV.

make sure you have the TV on to the correct input (component) and make sure that your amplifier is on the correct setting as well. If you have any other problems just list them again.

    Cheers
