Question:

Help With Twin Girl Names?

by  |  earlier

0 LIKES UnLike

My sister is having twin girls and I am helping her name them. She already has one boy. She and her husband chose the names,

*Kaylienne (Kay-lee-en)- Her choice.

*Jordanne (Jor-dan)- Her husband's choice.

Do you think the names go together and do you have any middle name suggestions or alternate spelling suggestions. Please do not give a giant list you just copied and pasted from the internet. I would prefer just a few thoughtful and feminine suggestions. Thanks in advance.

  1. Those names go together extremely well..

    Middle names could be

    Kaylienne Lanae

    &

    Jordanne Ranae

  2. I also like Emmaline and Lillianna

    Emma and Lily for short

    Kalienne Jo

    Jordanne Kay

are the middles names I would choose with what they picked.

  3. Alissa and Eliza

    Lillian and Lila

    Jordan and Jayla

    Madison and Miranda

    Madeline and Melrose

    Ariel and Aria

    Abigal and aileen

    Lila and Lola

and i didnt copy:made em up, please email me if u like em bribri220@yahoo.com

  4. I think both sound really horrible and made up - but then  it's got nothing to do with me!

  5. Kaylienne Marie

    Jordanne Lynn

    --thats cute

---Kylie &nd Kaylienne is cute too

  6. Joanne & Piper

    Sam & Grace

    ummmmm...thats all I got.

    Good luck anyways!!

    ;)

  7. I personally don't like them at all, but it's your sister's and her husband's decision.  The names do certainly suit each other.  They are both misspelled or elaborated versions of trendy names, and they are both very difficult to pronounce correctly upon a first reading.  Is Jordanne supposed to be pronounced like jor-DAN or JOR-din?

Here are a few "thoughtful and feminine suggestions" for alternatives:

    Clara and Elsa

    Charlotte and Eliza

    Charlotte and Violet

    Lilian and Violet

    Miriam and Lydia

    Madeleine and Eloise

    Elodie and Rosalie

But my favorite suggestion for an alternative would be:

    Julienne and Celine

These names incorporate elements of Kaylienne and Jordanne, but they're classier and much easier to pronounce.

  8. jordan, spelled: jordan is nice. this way she wont get teased in school or have her name misspelled. the other name is weird. and i dont know who's gonna ever get the spelling of that one right. good luck.

  9. The names do go together due to the fact that they are both hideously trashy and trendy.

Your sister needs to think about when these kids grow up, i mean who would take a lawyer named Kaylienne seriously?

    My suggestions:

(if you want "matchy matchy" names)

    Emilia and Eliza

    Harper and Piper

    Ivy and Iris

    Lilia and Lucia

    Blair and Brier

    Lydia and Leila (lee lah)

If you don't want "matchy matchy" names:

    Cecilia and Rosalie

    Esme and Nora

    Trudy and Livia

    Isla and Juliet

    Violet and Felicity

    Good luck :)

  10. I like Kaylienne, but not Jordanne.

  11. I like them both. Beautiful names. Kaylienne might get mispronounced, but I don't see a better way to spell it.

    Middle name possibilities for either:

Grace (always a favorite middle name)

    Rebecca (maybe better with Jordanne)

    Emily (better with Jordanne)

    Piper (another unique name)

Paige (good with Kaylienne because it's one syllable - long with short)

  12. Kalienne  Kaylien Kaelyan Kaelien

I prefer Jordan. If you spell it Jordanne many people will emphasize the anne, i.e.- JorDAN instead of JORdan

    Kalienne Lilly

    Kalienne Eve

    Kalienne Elise

    Kalienne Alexis

    Jordan Juliette

    Jordan Elise

    Jordan  Rose

    Jordan Claire

  13. i like them both. maybe Jordanne is not so feminine like Kaylienne. it shows that it was chosen by a him!

  14. i like Kaylee Ann, so you could call her Kaylee or Kay Ann

    and

Julianna Marie so you could call her Julie or Julianna or Julanna

  15. i like the names calli, blair, rayn(pronounced rain), and jenni for middle names. i also think that kalienne would be cooler if it was spelled kayleene:)

  16. I have twin girls and it is hard to pick out the names, mine are Megan anne and Morgan anna, my first choice was Heather and Hailey, some other cute ones i liked where.

    Sophia and Olivia

    Jasmine and Jocyalyn

    Kylee and Kylaya

Good luck and god bless you and your sister.!!!

  17. I like those names. Maybe you could spell Kaylienne like this: Kalien

Do you want a sort of short middle name? Try Kari. Well, congrats to your  sister. Wish you luck!

  18. Really? Kaylienne? It's rough. No one is going to say or spell it right because it's completely made up. Has she thought about Julienne or Lucienne? They're unusual but real French names. I don't think they go together at all because there is one completely made up, super girly name, and one misspelled boy name. I would suggest Lucienne and Jordana, or Lucienne and Georgia? They sound better matched, are properly spelled, and are real names. I would also consider using a French middle name for Georgia or Jordana to make them sound more like siblings, although it's not a must.

For middle names, I would avoid the standards, like Rose, Marie, Grace, Anne, Lynn, Lee, Renee, etc.

    Jordana Therese

    Jordana Olivia

    Jordana Zoe

    Jordana Claire

    Jordana Jane

    Lucienne Genevieve

    Lucienne Eleanor

    Lucienne Amelia

    Lucienne Penelope

    Lucienne Verity

    Georgia Danica

    Georgia Chloe

    Georgia Rebecca

    Georgia Gabrielle

    Georgia Catherine

  19. The names are cool but i would name twins

    julie and grace

    Jessie and kassie

    melodie and joy
