I really love my acting and dancing the problem is to get into shows and plays u gotta be good at singing....AND I AM NOT!

Occasionally a friend springs me when i'm singing at home or when i think no 1's looking- and every1 says i'm good.

But as soon as i stand in front of people and go 2 sing I freak out!!

How can i some how gain more confidence!

I no this sounds really dumb but soz!

So... If any 1's got any pointers more than happy 2 listen- actually practically begging!!!

  1. The best way to get better at singing is to find a good teacher and take some lessons. Try a local college, or ask your school's choir teacher for some recommendations. Lessons are essential.

Make sure you learn to warm up properly every time you sing- this will help you keep your voice healthy and avoid strain or injury.

Join as many choirs as you can. School chorus is a good place to start, so is a church choir. Sing on a regular basis. To keep your voice in shape you have to use it well and often.

Stage fright or performance nerves are VERY common- teachers and getting singing experience both help with these.

  2. Get lessons, of course.

I hated my singing lessons- my teacher was mean.

However, I sing like an angel now. =D

The lessons will not only improve your singing but they will teach you to have confidence.
